For those of you who do not know me I am Bethany Pierce! I just wanted to take a quick moment to share something with you.
For the past 5 months I have embarked on a new mommy journey of having 4 children. This transition has had many ups and downs for me. This summer in particular has challenged me in regards to having time for myself and even in the word of God. I made excuses for why I could not spend as much time in prayer and in my word as before. While the truth was my time just needed to be adjusted.
This week things came to a head for me. I felt defeated and burnt out but as I stepped into my prayer closet I felt a weight fall off of me. I felt like the Lord was reminding me where my help came from. It is something comforting about His presence and even taking the effort to spend time with Him that makes things alright.
I want to encourage you all that no matter where we go and what we encounter in our lives all of our help still comes from the Lord. He is and will always be our strength.
Psalm 121:1-2 KJV
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth.
