Yesterday, I had someone give me a harsh truth that I immediately knew was from the Lord. I had no choice but to be quiet and take it. In the past I would have been extremely offended and probably gone silent towards the person who offended me for a long period of time. But this time was different.

I feel as though the Lord has been having me shut my mouth and think before offense.

We will never grow if we are constantly offended and trying to plead our case.

I just wanted to encourage everyone to never look past opportunities to grow even when it hurts. Correction doesn't always give the warm and fuzzies but it's necessary.
