Prayer Points for Israel and Iran

As we continue to pray for both Israel and Iran, let us approach the throne of grace with humility and without bias and pre-conceived notion about both nations. Refrain from demonizing Iran or Israel. There are born again believers throughout both nations, and they need our prayers more than our unsolicited political commentary.

Pray Points for Israel:

•Divine protection ground forces, air and intelligence units in the north, and security personnel in Judea and Samaria.

•For the angels of the Lord to shield every soldier standing in harm’s way and frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm them.

•For the Spirit of wisdom (not the spirit of hatred or death) to be the guiding force for Israel’s military leadership and war cabinet. We decree unity, discernment, and resolve as they make high-stakes decisions in real time.

•For supernatural breakthroughs in hostage negotiations, for supernatural insight, pressure in the right places, and the safe return of every captive.

•We decree that no deal would strengthen Hamas or prolong terror, in Jesus name.

•We decree success in the total dismantling of Hamas' military and governing infrastructure. We decree that God’s justice to be revealed and for evil to be uprooted from Gaza.

•We decree that Israel’s leaders to operate with clarity and not confusion as they navigate diplomacy, defense, and survival.

Pray Points for Iran

•For the protection of Iranian Christians and the evangelical church in Iran.

•For the continued effectiveness of “forbidden media” in Iran. May the gospel of Jesus Christ slip through the surveillance systems that have been put in place to monitor the citizens of Iran.

•For Christians to be released from prisons in Iran and for sentences to be reduced for Christian prisoners.

•We decree peace over the Christians of Iran and they would cling to the promises of God and the hope that they have in him.

•We decree that Iran’s government would be led by the spirit of wisdom and not pride and retaliation.

•We decree Apostle Paul like conversions to Christianity in Iran. May the prison guards encounter the presence of God and become bold believers.

•For Iranian officials to have encounters with Jesus Christ. May there be a revival inside the government that will disrupt the plan of the enemy.

General prayer points:

•For God’s mercy and restraint to prevent further escalation and loss of life.

•For the protection and strength of Christian believers in Israel and Iran, that they may stand firm in their faith.

•For wisdom and courage for missionaries and gospel workers in the Middle East as they navigate these challenging times.
