I have been praying for the last few weeks for God to make all things new. I did not know what that looked like but I have been consistently praying for that open ended every day for at least the last 3 weeks.

The enemy comes to kill steal and destroy - and he was specifically attacking my finances. I talked to two people about it kind of just venting - and they both said the same thing talk to your pastor/church. So I spoke to my pastors wife by Sunday I had had a meeting with the pastor and financial operator of the church. The pastor asked me to bring all my bills so they could take a look and see where I was at. Knowing me I made a excel spread sheet, because I was like I’m already kinda embarrassed let me just lay it all out for you. The pastor reviewed my finances - wrote some notes.

The Pastor asked if he, and the financial officer could have a second to talk... I am thinking oh they gonna give me some money for groceries or something towards a past due bill or tell em to keep praying and hold on…. HOW SMALL MINDED I WAS!!! when they both walked back in they looked at the debt, plus my past due bills and told me they wanted to pay all my past due bills off and all of my credit card debt off which all totaled to about 10k!!!!

All I could do was praise God! as a DV survivor, and single mom of 2 who works for time, and is also in school for my master’s full time THIS IS A FRESH START- this is a new start. God forgive me for being so small minded, you said if we have mustard seed size faith, that if we ask for something you because you are a good, good father will give it to us. I thank you Lord for making all things new, I thank you for breakthrough.
