Forget The Former Things

Updated: Nov 26, 2023

The Lord is clarifying your new assignments and giving you strength you will need to settle fully into this prophesied place. Can you smell the freshness in the air? Can you smell the freshly cut green grass outside of the place of your tent? Can you hear the sound of the still waters ? This is the place your shepherd has prepared for you. Take a good look around and appreciate the scenery. This is the prophesied place. Take in the beauty and begin to build.

The Lord is clarifying your new assignments and giving you strength you will need to settle fully into this prophesied place.

I heard the Lord say, “FORGET THE FORMER THINGS AND WALK INTO THIS NEW PLACE WITH POWER WITH BOLDNESS”.

Release the frustrations that you have acquired from this period of transition, they won't serve you well in this place of newness. Yes, the enemy has been strategic in his desire to ensnare the believers of God, and it has brought many of you into pits of weariness. But the Lord is asking you to forget the former things and to place your focus on his goodness and not the enemy's antics. Drown out the sound of lament with your praise and adoration, it will bring healing and refreshing to your soul.

Psalm 30:1-5

"I will extol you, O LORD, for you have drawn me up and have not let my foes rejoice over me. O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me. O LORD, you have brought up my soul from Sheol; you restored me to life from among those who go down to the pit.

You are going to experience what it means to have life more abundantly.

You are going to experience what it means to have life more abundantly. God is going to restore you to the extent that you will seem unrecognizable. You will receive new eyes, new vitality, and the countenance of the spirit of God. You will radiate his glory! As you partner with the Holy Spirit, he will give you the anointing to LEGISLATE and GOVERN.

Step fully into this anointing without hesitation or resentment. There is great work to be done and you have been anointed to continue in the advancement of the kingdom of God. Arise and take your place in abundance without frustration from the things of the past.

John 10:10

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Forget the former things and remind your soul to bless the Lord who has delivered you and the LORD will continue to deliver you. Don’t allow what you have endured diminish the beauty of this prophesied place. Rid your heart of complaints and lift your hands in worship. He is the God who delivers. He is the God who protects. He is the God who speaks. He is the God who breaks the power of the snare and hides you. Honor him. This is a holy moment for you.

Burst forth.

Take dominion.

This is kingdom advancement.

Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Psalm 91:3-4 ESV

For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
