Whose Report Will You Believe?

Updated: Jun 15, 2023

God has been clear about his intention to shift us abruptly and suddenly. Many of you will find yourselves in a state of bewilderment because of the changes that are occurring within you and around you. You’ll be tempted to return back to old patterns and familiar spaces of comfort, but I urge you to resist that temptation.

Remember, the enemy has no legal right to attack, steal, discredit, delay or sabotage. The Lord has already decreed that this is your year of dominion.

Everything about you is changing, and the accuser is furious. Expect predictable attacks that revolve around your identity and forward advancement. The conflicts that will be presented to you will not involve a new cast of characters, it will involve the principalities that you have defeated, through the power of Jesus Christ, in past seasons. Remember, the enemy has no legal right to attack, steal, discredit, delay or sabotage. The Lord has already decreed that this is your year of dominion.

Whose report will you believe?

Isaiah 53: 1-5 KJV

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

The report of the Lord is that you are:

  • fearfully and wonderfully made

  • fashioned in his likeness

  • successful

  • anointed

  • loved

  • protected

Now is the time to use the authority that God has given to you. Wage war with the weapons that God has refined for you. The weapons of worship, dance, intercession, and time management are just a few examples of tools that you can use as you take dominion. Consume the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). The fruits of the spirit will give you the nutrients you need to cast down every lie, vain imagination, and demonic attacks that have been whirling around you.

Prepare to confront the schemes of the enemy and he will run in fear. Resist his shenanigans by using your authority. Yahweh Sabaoth has dispatched warrior angels to assist you. You are not in this alone! Embrace the leadership of Yahweh. There is too much at stake to lean on your own understanding. It is imperative that you press into the presence of God. Submit all of your senses (touch, hearing. sight, smell and taste) to the Lord so that he can communicate his will to you. Submit your perceived intelligence, logic, fears and rationalizations before the throne of God for the fear of the Lord is wisdom (Proverbs 9:10)! Take your schedule and priorities to the Father and ask him to reveal the things that are distractions versus the things that are apart of your mandate.

Your schedules will change. Your appetite will change. Your tolerances will change. This is the new thing! The Lord is going to usher you into this place of dominion and protect you along your journey.

Exodus 23:20-22

Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared. Pay careful attention to him and obey his voice; do not rebel against him, for he will not pardon your transgression, for my name is in him. “But if you carefully obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.

Submit all of your senses (touch, hearing. sight, smell and taste) to the Lord so that he can communicate his will to you. Submit your perceived intelligence, logic, fears and rationalizations before the throne of God, the fear of the Lord is wisdom (Proverbs 9:10)!

February is an extremely pivotal month, expect to feel the weight of this transition. Instead of viewing this transition as burdensome, welcome the transition as a sign that the Lord is doing everything that he promised.

Philippians 3: 12-14

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
